Need help with case number from metro Police

I had an accident with reya vaya on the second of march where the bus nocked me at the back and damaged my car metro Police officers came and took all my details promised me that on the seventh of march I'll receive a case number of which i haven't received today.and another thing is that they took advantage because i didn't even take their names as i was nerves the only thing a have with me is the pictures of the seen the number plates of the bus and chase number.so i really need help with how to get help so they can fix my car as they have damaged it.
