Need help with case number from metro Police

I was nocked by reya vaya onthe 5th of march the metro officers came to the seen took my names and address and promised that i will received my case number on the 7th of march but still today i haven't received it.now im left with a car thats damage as i don't have Insurence to fix it and the driver of reya vaya was wrong i feel that i am treated unfairly as i was not on the wrong please assist me to get that case number so that reya vaya can be responsible to fix my car.
