My name is Tsiko Trevor Nesindande I learnt that there was a ticket issued in my name on the 28th of August 2016 by the JMPD. Subsequently a warrant of arrest was issued. Firstly I am a resident of Limpopo and was not in Gauteng at the time the ticket was issued 4 years ago.How am I issued a ticket in Johannesburg whereas I was nowhere near the province and the ticket is 4 years old and only appears on the system last week .Secondly I did not receive any communication or notices with regards to the ticket, I only learnt of it when I went to renew my vehicle licence disk last week. I do not own a Renault Megane which the citation was made for instead I own a Opel Corsa Utility Bakkie. Please advise on step I need to take to have the warrant of arrest issued in respect of not paying for the citation issued and furthermore the cancellation of the ticket.
