Metro Police above the Law

So I received a fine for a crack on my vehicles windscreen about a month ago. I did not argue about if and was planning to pay the said fine. However a few weeks later this EMPD ( official) vehicle arrived and you would not believe it. Not only does the vehicle have 4 main cracks of which 3 was right in front of the driver the licence disk had expired in June 2022. Yet the "official" ( 3) in the vehicle was operating this vehicle on public roads. But they (EMPD) wants to give you a fine for not complying. What a bunch of hypocrites.

I wrote a letter to the EMPD demanding my fine be cancelled as they are just as guilty and was informed by the Deputy Municipal Police Commissioner that the fact that the vehicles for the EMPD ( and many other municipal) vehicles do not comply with the Road Ordinance Act is beside the point and a different issue.

So what the " Deputy Municipal Police Commissioner" is saying is that the EMPD can operate outside the law.

I would strongly suggest that if you are stopped by the EMPD and even the JMPD that you get out your vehicle and check their vehicles and if the do not comply to tell them to stick their fine where the sun don't shine.
