Law enforcement failure

After months of shunting the responsibilty for attending to dog disturbance from Metro Police to the SPCA, Chief Mapiyeye of Ekurhuleni Met Pol now confirmed it is a Metro Police function. He initially took action and there was a good response by his officers to address my complaint. These efforts were short lived, not effective, and it looks like Chief Mapiyeye also gave up hope that his officers will resolve this. The officers again do not take complaints, and Chief Mapiyeye do not reply to my e-mails. It is a disgrace that the Metro Police is paid handsomely by the taxpayers to do nothing, except for removing honest working street vendors from the streets and deny them an income.
