JMPD Bully
while travelling in a minibus taxi yesterday evening, we were stopped by metro police officers at the Berea fire station. This was all good and well but things got ugly. As the commuters in the taxi we started expressing our impatience to the driver, we were abruptly confronted by the officer. He was unprofessional and aggressive. He never once explained the reason for taking 45mins to issue a traffic fine. he instead started verbally attacking the foreign nationals in the taxi. He was stating that he would stop what he was doing and unleash his dog on them.If this is how citizens are going to be treated, no matter which country they're from, then we have a serious problem with our law enforcement. unfortunately the driver wouldn't disclose the name of the officer, all I have to go on is that he was part of the unit that was working by the Berea fire station,
