EMPD NOT DOING THEIR JOBS

Re: Empd officers putting lives in danger

I have seen on multiple occasions that the Empd officers are not doing their jobs properly. I have to travel to work every morning via the R554 towards Alberton and the robot on the corner of the R554 and Rondebult road is a SERIOUS DANGER ZONE. The motorists drive like they want to. Like in this morning`s case, I was second in line in my lane about to turn right and this taxi filled up to the point where it wanted to burst sc****d pass me and the car in the left lane and proceeded to turn right in front of us as the traffic still going over and pushed its way in front of the car in front of me and the two Empd officers standing on the corner saw this and DID NOTHING!!!!!

It would have been a catastrophic accident and how many injuries or lives would have been lost if there was an accident? And this is not the first time this has happened. The motorist`s even get onto the side walk of Heidelberg road and drive there whether there is pedestrians or not. Taxi`s speed down that walk way and push themselves into the traffic again just to stop after the robot to pick up people. All in view of the Empd`s directing traffic on that spot aswell. U turns are being made with on coming traffic. And heavy motor vehicles are being taken over on the left side of the road again in full view of the Empd officers and yet still nothing is being done.

Even Trichardt road is also being abused by motorist using the gravel road on the left hand side as a road. There were several close calls where the pedestrians/ cyclists could have been knocked down by these reckless motorist`s and the only thing they do is push into the traffic, And I mean push, they will hit you if you don`t give them space again also in full view of Empd officers driving on that road in the on coming traffic and waiting in line. Whether they are on duty or not what is more important? A few hours before shift starts or a human life?

I don`t care if the motorists/ taxi`s say they are late for work / school or whatever, that is no reason for them to endanger the lives of other law abiding citizens waiting in line for our turn patiently and following the rules of the road.

Innocent children, single mothers or grand-parents we are all in danger due to this lack of discipline!
