DISRESPECTFUL Thswane Metro Officer

Taxis had blocked our lane on Paul Kruger Street in Pretoria which forced us to use the bus lane to navigate through the blockage. About 10 cars passed using the lane and we were all stopped by the Tshwane Metro. All cars were left without any fines/infridgement notices given the Explanation. However, a Mr Rakhwale MN (Officer - 49512/45) was adamant that I get booked.

I requested for his supervisor and he said he was the supervisor...after noticing that the officer was hell burnt to charge me I seeked clarity from other officers who were with him. They indicated that they couldn’t charge us as the explanation was satisfactory of which the officer in question then conceded. He said I must go to the traffic department to sort it out.

I am taken aback as a fellow state official at the level of disrespect expressed by this officer in question and want my ticket withdrawn and that he is taken to disciplinary for batho pele!!!
