Pour service

I made bookings last year April and couldnt go because of a friend of mine offered me a place to stay at her home so i didnt worry about the deposit hence i thought it had forfeited until they sent me a message to say that even if i didn't make it they would reserve a place for me coz i paid cool i was happy to hear that now when i asked them about it they asked for proof of payment which i provided then said they are going to invistigate now after two days they come back to say they cant find my bookings so what happens now to me im really hurt by this
