Late delivery of curtains

We went to Metro and purchased curtains and various other items. There was some material for certain curtains that had to be ordered at another branch. We were told this would take some time and these curtains would take a little longer to be made. That was acceptable. It is now 4 weeks later and we are still awaiting those curtains. We have moved into a new house and we are now without curtains after we have paid alot of money for this product. The retailers and sales person are quick to take your business but when it comes to delivery they dont deliver on what they promised. I also have to constantly call after them to check the progress they do not have the decency to keep one informed. This is awful customer service.
