Bad sevice with no follow up

I purchased a Whirlpool dishwasher from Metro Home Centre Centurion on 24/04/16. When I paid for it I asked the cashier to put it on 12 moths budged on my credit card (MasterCard) After entering my pin the slip was printed and she asked me to sign. I checked the slip and noticed she didn’t charge it to budget but straight. She explained that the card machine didn’t give her the option for budget. I told her that she should have informed me about the problem before finalizing the transaction. She called a supervisor and they reversed the transaction. After a successful reversal she charged it again to my credit card starting a new transaction. Again the transaction was not charged to the budget account but in full. Again her excuse was the machine didn’t give her the budget option. I asked for the manager but was told he is not available today because it was Sunday Now I’m stuck because my card was on the limit Reversing a transaction takes 7 days to process The supervisor told that the store manager will phone me on Monday to “sort thing out” Nobody phoned so I phoned them on Monday afternoon and asked for the manager of the store. I spoke to someone who confirmed that he was the manager. He asked me if he can phone me back because he was just busy with someone else. I gave him the invoice number and confirmed my contact number that was printed on the invoice 5 days passed and no phone-call I phoned again the following Friday spoke to Ahmed who confirmed that he was the store manager. He denied to have any knowledge of the situation and will find out who took my call. He said that will make sure that the correct person in charge of that department will phone me back within 10 minutes A week has passed now and I phoned Ahmed again this morning He told me that he passed the problem on to Yassir to sort it out and I should speak to him. He transferred my call to Yassir. Yassir told be that he tried to phone me back but just got my voice mail. I checked my phone log (my phone is set to show missed calls) - nothing. Is this the way to treat a customer? This wasn’t a small amount – I paid R4700 for the item. This incident caused a financial problem to me as well as extra bank charges No apology – no effort to follow up I won’t buy anything again from Metro in the future
