SHOCKING BUSINESS PRACTICES

We have bought a LOT of large appliances from Metro including a fridge costing over R50000, a dishwasher, a tumble dryer and more. We’ve never been particularly fond of their business ethics but we’re disgusted by our recent experience. Paid over R10,0000 for a washing machine only to be told that delivery is extra and that the machine is a floor/demo item. They even tried to convince my husband that this is classified as a new item. It most certainly is not. So now the refund, which payment was instantaneous for, will take 10 business days to process. We’ve already found the exact same model for R300 cheaper and zero delivery costs. Do NOT buy from this company. Do five minutes of research and guaranteed you will find it elsewhere for cheaper and with zero delivery costs. And to think that we wanted to buy the LG Styler Essence Mirrored Finish with SmartThinQ™ at R30000 as well as the Falco 90cm Curved Glass Wall Mounted Extractor at R7000. NOT A CHANCE WILL WE BUY THESE FROM YOU.
