No return of TV on reasonable grounds
Bought a LG TV couple of days ago. The TV is good, but after fiddling with all the settings I just realized its not suiting my specific niche needs, what I really require is a much higher-end model. So I wanted to return it to get the cash back for upgrade purposes.
However, the store flat out refused a refund or store credit or even rebated store credit. I tried to discuss it as calmly and friendly as possible for two hours, after which I gave up.
I spoke specifically Shawn Lutchman (which is the electronics store manager), his floor worker and even the service manager (Raveen).
I had all the original packaging and proved to them its still in tip top order, no damage, etc.
I do not feel they have consumer interests at heart. They just want to make a sale on the day. There's no thought of building a loyal consumer base.
I don't know if there's like some consumer right one can act one here? I just want to be heard out within reasonable grounds.
If I knew upfront no refunds are possible, then I would have never ever bought any item there, especially a TV where one does not know how it will look like in your living room until you've tried it out.
