I was in an accident involving only my car. I asked the the tow truck driver how much the cost would be to transport my car to my home. He said around R1200. However he said he would not drive it to my residence as he did not believe I would pay, even though I assured him I had the money at home. He suggested to tow it to his head office in braamley. He did not specify whether it would cost more. Now he claims to have told me it cost around R6000 to tow to Braamley. This is unacceptable. I have an invoice from the tow truck driver with no specified cost. What should I do?
