CRAZY AMOUNTS ON PREPAID

I live in a flat at Ithemba Properties in West Park, PTA. My electricity comes to over R1000 for a FLAT, nobody is home during the day, geyser is only on from 9pm to 5am. There is a fridge and a freezer. We dont ever use the electric stove, we only use gas. Why is this crazy amount every month?
