We approached Metal Wizards KZN in July for a quote upon recommendations from groups on Facebook. Shaun Johnson came to see us for measurements and a quote. We put it off till November and contacted them for a revised quote as we needed plumbing as well as a security gate made. He came out and remeasured, also told us he had changed company name to Security and fencing works as his “brother” has taken over Metal Wizards in PMB. We thought nothing of this and went ahead, paid the 60% discount as requested into a Capitec acc. They did the plumbing as promised but needless to say no gate was ever fitted. The excuse was that “Carl” had a heart attack on the 9th Dec 2018, but on research that we did he apparently had one 2 weeks earlier when someone else followed up on their order. There was always an excuse. Phone calls and messages were ignored. Shaun became Carl White of Security and Fencing works. They use the following names Shaun and Marcelle Johnson are also the following: Carl White and Alex Scott, they “recommend either Metal Wizards & Shaun Johnson or Carl White of Security & fencing Works depending who does the reply. They use Nedbank, ABSA and Capitec accounts for the deposits. We reported the Capitec account to the ***** unit. The business names are Marci’s Comms, Metal Wizards KZN, Security & Fencing Works. We have opened a theft case against them with the Berea SAPS 150/12/2018
