Full of lies and robbing customers blind

<p>Be careful with this company based in Cape Town! They will take your money without doing the work!</p> <p> </p> <p>Had their salesman, Mike, coming in to do an evaluation on a window that leaks when it rains and bad sound proofing. Showed him the pictures of the leak and the windows on my premises. Mike was confident that the water leak can be sorted and the sound can be reduced. They send me a quotation and asks for a deposit which I paid. Metal Windows then sends in their repairmen to do the job described only to leave it unfinished and left. They said there was a problem with the windows and the salesman had to come back to re-evaluate, which he never did and ignores me thereafter. I called the company to speak to the owner, who then agrees to not take the rest of the payment as the sound proofing could not be dealt with, and guaranteed me that the windows will not leak anymore (which was my primary concern!). However, when it rained again, no doubt, the windows started leaking again. I contacts the owner, Dave, again and he now claims he never made such a promise and I was LYING! In fact, claims that I have never even mentioned about the leak of windows to the salesman (without even finding out if the salesman had **** to him or not). I have email proof that my initial problem was the window leak and sound proofing, none of which were addressed by Metal Windows! Basically, took my money for doing NOTHING at all! When confronted on what work did they do, the owner could say nothing else besides "to ensure the windows open and close properly", which was ALREADY working properly and wasn't even the reason to call Metal Windows in the first place. If it weren't for the leaks why on earth will I even bother calling them in to repair the windows? Absolutely disgusted by this business and its customer service.
