Empty promises - MEIBC Provident Fund

<p>The company I worked for ended my contract. I immediately app**** for my provident fund for the necessary pay-out. After some time that I did not hear from them, I phoned to follow up, after which they told me that they need all the original documentation. Not once did they try to get hold of me to inform me about this. After sending the original documenation, they said it will take 8 weeks then I will receive the pay-out. I phoned them again on the 8th of February 2017 (the 8 weeks already passed) and they informed me that the pay-out will only be done on the 6th of March 2017. This is really unacceptable as I already made the necessary arrangements to pay my debt by the mid of February 2017. This is money owed to me, my money, and I am struggling because of them. The fact that they told me that a pay-out will be done after 8 weeks, and it is not done, and said that the pay-out will now be the 6th of March 2017, I do I believe them in this matter???? First promise was empty, why should I believe that I will receive the pay-out on the 6th of March 2017???? I am really digusted by their unprofessional way of handling things. If I did not follow up yesterday, they in any case would not have let me know that the pay-out will only be done by the 6th of March 2017, contravening what they promised the previous time. </p>
