Merrell footwear made of very cheap material

Merrell boots are made of cheap materials while charging a premium . I have a Merrell boot that I have worn under 8 times and very low miles on yet the material that is supposed to protect the Toe of shoe is made of a material that just tears for no reason. I would avoid this Brand
