Merkado is a **** - Do NOT BUY HERE
Placed an order for a Huawei Wi-Fi Device and Paid R893. Got an e-mail acknowledging receipt but is said the order can take up to 21 days (and not 7 to 10 days as per website).
I waited a week and then called - I got turlough after some trying - and I was told they will call warehouse to see when it can be delivered and they will call me back - they never did, I called again - this time the 1st number did not work - I tried the other one - after some avoidance tactics they then said a delivery can only happen next year (2 to 3 months later). I asked for order to be cancelled and they agreed and said they will refund me - that said they never did and now neither phone works - I get zero response from e-mails to their customer support - essentially they stole my money and I am laying a charge of theft at the police station.
They are ****, and the website is a **** - PLEASE avoid them at ALL COSTS www.merkado.co.za
