BE BEWARE OF EXPLOITATION My mom took her Mercedes in for a noise in the engine. It was determined to be the alternator making the noise. We were quoted for replacing the alternator, but then also another R10 000 for a major service despite the fact that the vehicle was serviced 2 450 km earlier. I don't find this up to the ethical standard a Mercedes dealer should adhere to.
