Bad company to work for

I've worked for merchants for just over a year on the xfinity campaign. They dismissed me as I didn't report to work as I was ill now they are refusing to pay me everyone I speak to gives me a different story suddenly people are on leave I fail to understand how everyone goes on leave at once this company treats their employees so bad we are nothing but jus numbers at that place all I want is to be paid as I spent my festive season with no money I have returned all the equipment so I don't owe merchants anything
