When I purchased my second Mercedes from the Sandton branch I was told I was on the 6 year maintenance plan and all brake changes will be covered and there are no restrictions. When my vehicle went in for service within the latter part of 2023 I was told my brakes will need changing and will not be covered in my plan and I was given a quotation of the cost. The service advisor insisted I am on a plan that has restrictions. I opted not to do the brakes at the time. My car warned me of brakes ware now in April 2024, Mecedes Sandton did not accept my fleet card for the charges and still advised my plan has limitations on brakes. I had to now take my vehicle to Mercedes Centurion which is over 60km from my location which they advised they accept fleet cards, only to get there and they advised I will not be needing the fleet card as my maintenance plan will cover the costs and there are no limitations on the plan I am on. All brakes have been changed now with no additional costs. I am absolutely disgusted with the service I received from Mercedes Sandton. In my opinion from the poor service and arrogance of their staff they just wanted to make money of me and not do the repairs under the warranty. I will not be purchasing another Mercedes due to the poor and dismal service received from Mercedes Sandton.
