Worst service I have EVER received from a dealer! Thank you Mercedes-Benz Bryanston for *****ing my opinion of Mercedes as a whole!
My goal was to purchase a reliable extremely low mileage car for the long journeys I make for work purposes and I thought there could be no better manufacturer to achieve that quality of car and service than Mercedes-Benz. I was clearly proved wrong as my experience with the Bryanston branch has been a nightmare from day one of initially seeing the car where I had to deal with someone who hardly even knew a thing about the car, a 2015 A45 AMG with 18000km. In the middle of the transaction my sales representative was sent for training delaying me from getting the car. I always inpect my cars from top to bottom (especially preowned vehicles) and found the car in flawless condition. Upon having taken delivery I found deep scratches on the window and gloss finish of the door frame of which when I reported it I was made to feel like like I was responsible for this damage and I even had to go so far as to send photos by email that I had luckily taken at pre-delivery phase just to prove my case. Within the first week I soon came across a whole bunch of issues whilst driving the car that are even getting worse as I write this review of which I reported within the first week by email. I found myself having to chase after the dealer just to get my car sorted out (most certainly not the kind of service you expect from a premium brand and having purchased an AMG). I had to basically beg for days for a loan car for them to keep my car and resolve all the issues including the damages previously mentioned. The car was kept for 3 days in the workshop which greatly inconvenienced me having to reshuffle meetings around just to sort a car out of which I had not even had for a full month. The best of all this was that none of the issues were even resolved and a shoddy job was done of replacing the window which now rattles everywhere I drive. Having previously owned a Volkswagen Scirocco I found myself regretting moving brands since I had received service from the Bryanston VW that was miles ahead whether from their sales department to their servicing and general customer relations. Every staff member at that branch made me feel special and well looked after. Instead I found myself having to deal with departments and even managers who make no effort to even give me updates (eg I had to constantly chase after the workshop and sales department for updates else I would have gotten nothing or worse yet would have kept my car for over a week). I am a patient person but it has just been one thing after the next and I now find myself driving an expensive AMG that I cant even trust or feel comfortable in. A pity one branch has managed to change my whole perspective on a brand I otherwise thought was solid and offered the best service in the business.
