Worst experience with Mercedez Benz

I visited the Mercedes Benz in Durban, due to a noise that was caused by a latent defect in the dashboard of my newly purchased 2015 Mercedes (that is still under warranty). Upon my visit I was not greeted nor assisted by any of the numerous staff members in the, showroom and service room. I approached a gentleman and discussed my issue, he proceeded to take my vehicle to the service area where he claimed to have checked and sorted out the defect. To my dismay shortly after my visit, I opened the bonnet to show a friend the engine (for the very first time after the service) I noticed that my Mercedes badge was missing. I immediately checked the pictures I had taken the last time I had opened the bonnet (which was the day I took delivery of the vehicle) and noticed that the badge was on the engine cover. I contacted and informed the service manager of Mercedes Ben (Mr Ismail Essack) in Durban who did not address the issue in a professional manner. He assured me that he would sort the issue out upon my visit to the dealership. After I visited and he had learned that the replacement cost of the badge was around R5500.00, he failed to assist me any further. He was; increasingly rude, kept insisting that his employee did not take it (without any proof), even though I had pictures of my engine before and after the service, it is for this reason that I am of the belief that he conducted himself in an unprofessional and inefficient manner.
