Why Mercedes Benz? Why?
Dear Mercedes Benz, South Africa It is with great sadness, that I will never be a Mercedes Benz customer again. This is the third C63 AMG I have owned. My rear brakes had a “check wear” light come on, and was told the rear brakes need replacing. They had only done 8****m!! Either the dealer forgot to replace brakes before., or it was accidentally booked out to another vehicle, or ****** by someone else. Or else there is a fault with the pads or discs. They could never last only 8****m. Not even if one drives likes a man man. After owning 3x C63 AMG vehicles? This has never happened before. My first C63 AMG (demo model), was a Dynamic Driving Vehicle (which was not disclosed to me), had brakes that lasted longer than that. And that was used for harsh braking and training, daily! I have offered my Matrix driving reports. I have offered my Dashcam footage. I have offered my Mercedes Benz Me adapter driving styles, Yet, Mercedes Benz refuse to replace the brake pads under Agility and/or warranty. The phone call I received from customer care today (I have a recording) “there are no signs of customer abuse, however, Mercedes Benz South Africa refuse to replace the brake pads, as it is not normal wear and tear”. Of course, it is not normal, something is very wrong. Even the dealer agrees with me, as they have known me and my driving style for many years. My father worked for Mercedes Benz for 50 years, and for Mercedes Benz South Africa, and he is at a loss of words at how this has been dealt with. My car was also kept at the dealer for one and a half weeks, before the disappointing decision was made. You have lost a Mercedes Benz customer, because of a pair of brake pads. Very sad. Not what I expected from Mercedes Benz.
