Warranty Grace Period is a Sales Gimmick - A lie

We have a mercedez benz and we have been out of the country and the upon our return we wanted to take the car service. The dealership we phone to do the booking said, the car has just reached it last service date on the 6th of June and when we called it was the 12th (meaning 5 days ago, the warranty lapsed. They said we can contact Mercedes call center for the 30 day Grace period. When we did each consaltant we speak to is either does not know about the extention period or sendsus back to the dealership or says call back tomorrow to speak to the warrant department. One consultant told us the "Grace Period" is not a given AUTOMATICALLY, it needs to be reviewed first. AND A DECISION WILL STILL BE MADE. Oh, they can even decline it, that is not wat they tell you when you buy. Very disapointed, I feel like Mercedez is stalling so that the Grace period can pass us by. I do not understand why our the branch is not given the authority to ask or decide this for the client. Mercerdez Pretoral Central and Pretorial west were apparently supposed to send a resquest, which is still going through appeals processes. Why can`t i enjoy my last service on the vehicle?
