W177 Sunroof issues

. I drive a 2020 Mercedes A200. At around 83 000 / October 2022 the Sunroof roller would open 30%. Since I commute to my clients on a daily basis I decided to only report it when I’m about to book my 100 000 service. Merceds Benz Sandton assessed the Sunroof and I was told that the car is out of warranty and yet It was less than 3yrs old and had less than 100 000km.

Worst part is that after they assessed the sunroof, Water Marks Stains started appearing on the roof cloth and I notified them and was told that it's not their problem by the person who called me. I also have the pictures of the stains and they are still there.

When I bought the car at Mercedes Tzaneen, I was given a mechanical warrantee certificate of 10 000 km or 5yrs. I still have the certificate and the original email from the sales person from Mercedes Tzaneen.
