Very poor quality vehicle for the high price paid

<p>I have been spending money on parts and maintenance every month although the mileage my mercedes is low as 77000kms. Last week vehicle broke down on road while my wife was driving, leaving her stranded. Apparently v belt and v belt tensioner damaged, prior to that it was the timing chain. Mercedes was well known for quality, reliablity and service but not anymore. Be prepared to spend loads of cash as this vehicle is very troublesome. Always get the same excuse that it is service related. This is clearly not a service plan issue - this was either due to another faulty part or poor workmanship and Mercedes should, without trying to pass the buck and aggravating the customer, replace the item free of charge. I would have expected more quality and reliability from Mercedes , however I have had undue stress since my purchase of the Mercedes. I will not consider buying another, nor recommend Mercedes to anyone.</p>
