<p> </p> <p>Mercedes Benz Financial Services</p> <p>Kindly note as per my previous emails, I was retrenched since April 2016 this year. Due to a matter with the company Maths Impex Pty Ltd and myself, I was only given a retrenchment letter by the company in August 2016. I have been liaising with Nicola Govender at Strauss Recovery Solutions since July 2016, who I had explained my financial position to. I submitted my retrenchment letter to her immediately after receiving it from the company. My apologise for not keeping up to date with repayments but I was awaiting my retrenchment package payment of R56 600 in order to settle the full arrear amount. I was under the impression my installments will be settled for atleast 6 months like my other premuims . It was rather embarrassing the morning of the 28/10/2016 when my vehicle was taken away from me in the presence of my 10yr old daughter.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am currently employed as a Financial Accountant at EV Property Developers on a permanent basis earning a salary of R25 000 nett per month. I am also employed at Liberty Financial Services as a Financial Advisor earning a commission of R20 000 per month. I am now able to afford to pay my monthly instalment of R4000.00 and an extra amount towards the arrears until it is up date.</p> <p>Kindly note I dispute my monthly expenses calculated by you for my affordability as you have included the full outstanding amounts as my monthly expense as per the attached. I have therefore attached emails from my creditors regarding my true monthly repayments towards my accounts. Please note, my boyfriend also lives with me and contributes 50% towards my home loan and water/lights/rates.</p> <p>My apologise for this inconvenience .I would really appreciate it if Mercedes Benz Financial Services can reconsider a payment arrangement as my vehicle is currently being used for business purposes in order for me to earn an income. I also require the vehicle to take my daughter to school and for church which is a distance from home. Your assistance will be highly appreciated.
