Unhelpful and Disappointing

My dad owed an amount of R190,000.00 as part of his balloon payment on his car, Due to him retiring , he was unable to pay the lumpsum and the car was taken away with the arrangement that they would settle the car and thus the R190k will be resolved as the cars value was more than R190k. The car was taken in February 2024 and still nothing has been done, the full amount owing is still showing against his credit record and this is becoming a huge problem for him. This is unacceptable, since the car has been collected there has been no communication and no one seems to know what's happening and have been very unhelpful.
