Unfair treatment.

On the 11th January 2025 I took my car in to Motus Holdings Limited - Mercedes Benz Johannesburg North for the replacement of the brake pads on the rare left tyre. The service was great and my car was done on time, I was pleased with their professionalism. I drove to a friend’s place where the car was parked until the 13th morning when I drove back to Secunda, using the Malingwe Drive N1 North, suddenly the tyre that was worked on dislodged and the car safety system activated and the car came to a standstill. Whilst still in shock I got out of the car to see the extent of the damage, to find that none of the nuts were intact. As I was thinking about what to do next and if I should call my insurance, another car drove right into my car at the back. After the car was towed I went back to the dealer to find out if they didn’t make a mistake in as far as tightening the nuts was concerned. They were cold and unwelcoming, took to the defensive, they refused to check the footage as to confirm and perhaps assist. They said they would investigate the matter and they were not in position to offer a courtesy car. They came back at a later stage saying they don’t take any responsibility of the accident as I didn’t put the triangle at the accident scene and my argument remains that the accident wouldn’t have occurred had they done a good job with the nuts from onset. They refused to assist or take any accountability
