The Merc that Peels!

My C180 Mercedes Benz. is less than 3 years old when I noticed that the black strips on all 4 doors have started to peel. <br> <br> Having taken the car to Merc, Bryanston, they took pictures and submitted them to Merc HO for authority to replace the strips. Sadly this was rejected.<br> <br> Having had many cars in my life, I have never seen something like this happening to any of the cars.<br> <br> For Merc to reject my claim for something that is obviously a manufacturing issue and certainly no fault on my part is really in the realm of preposterous.<br> <br> Considering one is talking about R 4 000 which should fall under the motor plan, I am now not so sure whether I want to replace this car with the latest C Class this year!<br> <br> Pathetic!.
