Rear tail light problem w204 Mercedes-Benz

<p>Good day, I have a 2009 Mercedes-Benz c320cdi w204 and realised my right rear tail light is not as bright as the left side. I took my vehicle to the dealership in Secunda, South Africa and they told me it's a wire that's getting warm and it's causing the light not to work sufficiently and it will cost +/- R1500 to fix and its because of wear and tear. I felt it's a manufacturer problem and did research and found out that Mercedes-Benz USA recalled they're cars with the same symptoms than my vehicle. I called Mercedes-Benz South Africa and after a few days they said that there is no recalls on the vehicle in South Africa but there must obviously be as a mercedes-benz in a other town had a 2008 Mercedes-Benz c-class w204 with the same problem a week ago. It will be highly appreciated if you can help me.</p>
