RADIO CODE

<p>I went to local dealer, Sandton Mercedes,where I have always been helped with this matter, this time I was referreed to a callcentre at MBSA. I called while at the dealership and got told that the system was offline. An hour later I called to my office and got told that to get the code I had to fax my ID and car registration documents. This is unacceptable because I have had this vehicle since 2002 and never had to go through this burocracy to get this code. I have only furnished the information when I wanted a new key ordered and understand the security consideration in that instance. What security risk does a radio code on such an old vehicle when previously this has been given without fuss?</p>
