Poor service and being **********
Good day,
Mercedes-Benz prides itself with quality and the best brand. I followed suit and bought their brand hoping for such, was I wrong, yes I was. I took my vehicle to Mercedes-Bens Grand Central due to a "Transmission" Consult Workshop fault displaying and the loss of power. Left the vehicle there for almost the whole day, to be told by about 13;00 and 14:00 that their diagnostic not pick up the fault, I advised them to drive the vehicle for a long stretch and they confirmed the fault. Quoted me and R41.5k agreed and promised the vehicle after 3 weeks, because of the part not available. After a week and a half, the vehicle was "repaired", went to fetch the vehicle and was told the has "whining sound", sounds like one is driving a manual and not changing the gears timely and straining the clutch plate or something to that effect. When the vehicle was taken there, that problem was not there, I inquired as to why the vehicle has this noise, I was told it is consequential damage, which i do not agree with. I am now expected to now further pay for the additional job, (i.e. diagnosis, stripping, etc.) I am so flabbergasted by the service and the manner in which they siphon money from clients. It is in time like these, that you realise you're just a cash *** to them.
