Poor / Pathetic Service / Unempathetic Mercedes SA

New Mercedes C250-no spare tyre, but runflats. Right rear tyre ripped apart approximately 12 kms before Empangeni. Mercedes SA. informed at approx. 6pm. Mercedes Inyanga of Empangeni, responded at 9pm. I was promised rental vehicle and accompanied technician back to dealership-had his family with him, so before climbing onto back of open bakkie, my son and I were almost run over by a vehicle travelling on the yellow line. At dealership, I was informed that there were no loan vehicles available and that Merc. SA. could not source a rental. Riding on back of open bakkie, we made our way to Richards Bay airport, after being informed by Steven Dunn that he arranged rental. Get to the airport to find plenty cars available, but all rental companies closed. Shekhar of Avis obliged and came out approx. 11pm, but I had to sign liability for rental. At 23h55, I swerved, but could not avoid a rock, placed by undesirables, on the middle of the road, 10kms before Zinkwaxi township. Because of failure of runflats, I am without a car and faced with R4500,00 excess for damage to rental. Also, no stock of Merc. approved Continental tyres in Dbn. If new C-class had spare-no need for this drama.
