Poor customer service - Mercedes Benz Klerksdorp

Last week, I sent in my C200 coupe in at Mercedes Benz Klerskdorp dealership to have it checked out because my boot was not opening automatically anymore. It was fixed on the same day and upon arriving at home (after travelling for over 200km), I realised that some electrical functions were also affected for example (1) The illumination lights under the mirrors were no longer coming on and (2) the passenger seat belt was also not going forward automatically.

The very next day, I sent an email to explain the situation and was told that the person who assisted me the previous day will get in touch with me. Another day went by with no call from them until I had to follow up telephonically with the dealership and the response was that they would send me a WhatsApp video to explain how to adjust the settings. Upon explaining that the video in the WhatsApp was using a different model of the car and that mine did not have these buttons on, the sales lady went silent (She constantly checks her phone as she is constantly online but no response). After more than a week later, I am still sitting with the seat belt issue and the lights are slowly coming on but are very dim.

I truly suspect this is an electrical issue caused by the technicians when they were working on the boot issue. This is because we did not fiddle with any settings and the lights are slowly coming on (albeit dim). The lack of professionalism and poor customer service from the dealership is what brought me here. The least the dealership could do is follow up on every complaints and concerns received from their loyal clients.

I will be following this up with the Mercedes Benz Head office and if need be, escalate this matter legally.
