Peeling seats: Given plastic instead of leather I paid extra for

I bought a Mercedes Benz W204 in 2012, extras included were Avantgarde and AMG Sporting. Avantgarde meant that the seats are leather instead of the lappa which would peel over time.

The vehicle was a 'special model', which, instead of coming out with leather seats, came out with suade and what I believed to be leather, until recently when the seats started peeling off. This, a clear indication, that the seats were actually suade and lappa or leather look.

I laid a complaint in 2020 and was informed that the vehicle's warranty has passed. I laid another on Twitter, they promised to investigate l, but no feedback.

How can warranty pass when I was ******, given leather-look peeling seats instead of leather I paid extra for? I wish to request that my complaint be attended to and Mercedes Benz SA takes measures to correct this, because what I paid for were leather seats and not leather-look.
