Pathetic Service

<p>experienced problems with a Merc C220, that had just 3000kms on the clock.</p> <p>excellent service from Tracey at Umhlanga br, she also arranged with MBSA for a hired vehicle to get from KZN to Jhb (back home).</p> <p>MBSA called me and could only offer a VW 1400. i advised the agent that we are four adilts with luggage that had to drive back, and i needed a bigger vehicle(please pull out the recorderd call to verify). Agent was adamant that none of the car hire companies had a bigger vehicle. i advised the agent that i will personally hire a bigger vehicle an MBSA needs to reimburse me. if MBSA hired the vehicle for me, i would have kept the hired vehicle until my vehicle was ready for collection, which happened to be 9 days, after leaving it at Umhlanga br.</p> <p>i hired an Eco Sport, and at very competitive rate and for just 2 days.</p> <p>after several communications, i eventually received a response today(3 months later), advising that MBSA did not authorise the rental vehicle and will not reimburse.</p> <p>Logically, MBSA would have incurred a cost had they hired the vehicle, and it would have costed MBSA more due to duration, i hired at a lesser cost and they still refuse to reimburse?</p> <p>Hopefully, i will receive a call from MBSA to address.</p>
