Negligence,Ignorance and Unprofessional
On the 18th July I contacted Mercedes Benz Centurion telephonically requesting an insurance quotation to which Myrtle Van Zyl ( Finance & Insurance Consultant) responded after 3 days with a qoutation.I requested her to activate the Insurance premium of R1050 and a debit order on the 15th July.Later month end of July I received an Insurance activation confirmation call from a call center Agent with a different premium amount that was R950.The 15th Aug had passed no deduction took place.
I then made a follow up via email to Myrtle Van Zyl the 2nd of Sep to enquire about the deduction and to know if I am covered. Her response was I was covered no explanation was further given as to why the deduction never took place.I then sent another email requeating to know about the deduction. She never responded.
I then called her requesting to know why deduction never took place she said deduction will take place on the 15th Sep and pro rata will be added for the previous month.I asked her what is pro rata, she rudely responded I should ask the call center agent that called me.I then asked her ,why is she rude. She said "she is having a bad day"(so unprofessional). She ended up explaining reluctantly and fast.I still did not understand and avoiding another unprofessional remark I decided to not to ask futher.
Today it is the 21st September no deduction took place.I refuse to deal with Myrtle Van Zyl and I also refuse to pay the pro rata because of someone's negligence.I decided to not blame the whole organisation because of one persons ignorance, negligence and unprofessionalism.
I am appling for Management to contact me so this matter can be sorted out.
