Mercedes roadside assistance

I hit a pothole in the middle of nowhere on the 14th of June and damaged my tyre. Called my useless insurance (Santam) and they refused to help me because the nearest town was 100km away from where i was. They said they can only cover up until 50km and i would have to pay for the difference.

As i still have a maintenance plan, i decided call Mercedes SA. Spoke to Noni and she quickly got a technician to call me. And the technician quickly arranged towing to Polokwane where I could replace my tyre. Mercedes usually takes the car to nearest dealer but due to time constraints they allowed the towing company to take it straight to the tyre shop. ??
