Mercedes GLA dash peeling at 61000 km’s

I have a 2017 Gla amg but I have a problem developing on the dash had started peeling and I was told that I sprayed air freshener on it. I have 61000 km’s on the clock and will not reach my 100 000 maintenance/service warranty. Mercedes Benz has refused to fix it and can’t give me a forensic reason for what is happening. They say that this would have been covered under the 2 year warranty. Been waiting for a decision for over 2 months. Going to go to the ombudsman as this is not the kind of service you would expect fro Mercedes Benz. Emails, messages and chasing just get ignored. Highly irritated and frustrated
