Mercedes Benz South Africa failure to accept liability
I took the vehicle for service on the 20 Oct 2021, you were advised by service consultant that they have ordered driving shaft which will arrive on the 13 Nov 2021. My vehicle was returned to me on the 20th Oct 2021 but no technician advised me that I should not drive the car until the driving shaft is fitted. On the 5th of Nov 2021 on my way to East London the vehicle made a funny noise from the engine, I immediately called Ronnie Motors Mthatha, they advised that I should call Mercedes Benz Roadside Assist which I did.. I was sent a technician from Ronnie Motor by the name of Lebo immediately when he arrived he was shocked that I was driving the vehicle cause he stated that he told them to keep the car at the workshop until the driving shaft arrives and he noticed that the vehicle had no oil in it . So they took the car and Lebo advised that since this is a warranty issue MBSA is supposed to hire a car for me which never happened , I was borrowed an old Mercedes Benz until they discovered upon their inspections that another part needs to be ordered as well that's only when they hired a vehicle for me. When the 2nd part arrived they told me that another part needs to be ordered now this is a 3rd part, MBSA started claiming that there was an accident which they said they will not pay for the 3rd part , I or the vehicle where never involved in any accident. If the vehicle was not returned and kept in their workshop we wouldn't be having any of this cause the vehicle was supposed to be returned back to me in a good condition
