Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, ****** - Stay Away from them

Our Mercedes Benz financial services contract number is 965000. During COVID we got behind with our installments and called MBFS and arranged to pay back initially a lesser amount and then a larger amount. We had one more payment to pay before we had caught up our "arrears" and what do these "people" do, they gave instruction to repo the car. They nor their attorneys did NOT notify us about this but they still got a Court order (how on earth does a judge issue a repo order without proof of the procedure being followed. LIES LIES LIES is the answer).

Every repo in SA must comply with specific legislation (National Credit Act 34 of 2005), this act provides the framework for the process to occur in a civilised and orderly manner. However, it seems that it only applys to the public and not to MBFS.

Next, trying to contact anyone there.....GOOD LUCK, been trying for 5 days, spent more than 4 hours listening to their ridiculous "on hold" messages...even sent their MD an email. Yet not one person has contacted us at all. Unfortunately I am not able to fully describe the actual uselessness of this company because the words I would need to use would offend everyone.
