Mercedes Benz Durban Services

I have been experiencing endless problems with the after sales at Mercedes Benz durban. In 2014 I had bought a second hand A250 under the false pretense that the car was equipped with run flat tyres. After puncturing my Tyre I was told this was not the case. After checking my boot, I found that I had no jack, spare Tyre or any tools at all. I then experienced problems toward the end of the motor plan due to coolant and water leaks. This was 'repaired' at garden city (service advisor Marcus) who said they had changed the water pump(which I later found out wasn't the case). I sent my car in twice thereafter experiencing the same problem. Finally at Mercedes durban, they changed the water pump. My car was sold straight after.

In 2017 I purchased a c coupe brand new. My car has been in and out of the workshop with no positive results. 6months after purchasing the vehicle I had a Tyre blow out on the highway. The car had no more than 5000kms. When looking for a replacement Tyre I was told there was no stock of the Tyre in the country! And had to wait for the new year for stock. After weeks of negotiations, Mercedes replaced 2 of the tyres for the cost of 1 which I appreciated, but the drive was not the same. I had brought it to their attention but the cost of changing all 4 tyres to 1 brand was to be at my own expense. My most recent experience was when my c class seat belt mechanism became faulty. The holder would stay in/out when it wasn't supposed to. I had contacted Mercedes durban (Denzel and Carroll) who told me that they had to order the part from Germany and would take up to 6 weeks to arrive. 10-12 weeks later I contacted Denzel who said it was not on the system and the part needs to be ordered. Later that afternoon Carroll called to say there was some confusion and the part was in stock. I explained to her that my car was booked in for brakes the next day and to sort both problems out at once. 2 days later, I had experienced further problems with my seat belt and Carroll (my service advisor) is unaware of what was done to the car or if the seat belt was even sorted out. Further to this, my car is under full warranty and was purchased under the impression that all mechanical parts are fully guaranteed. I was told though, that only every 17500kms are they allowed to change the brakes and if any less I am liable to pay. This is an Amg performance sports car which is driven by a woman daily. The car is not being driven at high speeds and braked on heavily. This is not a driver's problem but possibly a default of the car that needs to be checked.

Regards.
