Mercedes Benz Customer Service dwindling

It seems like the customer service at Mercedes Benz SA is dwindling. For the past 15 years, I have received excellent service from Mercedes Benz with respect to the four vehicles purchased since the year 2000. I have chosen Mercedes over the competition of German vehicles as I feel that the drastic changes and advancement in the C-Class generation is phenomenal as I observed the evolution of this fine vehicle over the years. Unfortunately, problems started arising when I purchased my fourth vehicle, a Mercedes 2014 C250 Avantegarde W205 from Orbit Motors in Century City, Cape Town. At the first service, I indicated amongst others, instability of the vehicle over undulating road surfaces. The report back after the service indicated that no fault was found. A few months later, due to no improvement of this problem, I once again reported the problem. I was requested to bring the vehicle in for a check. Together with a Mercedes workshop mechanic, the vehicle was test driven and I pointed out my problem. The vehicle was taken into their workshop for a quick inspection and was told that no fault could be observed. I reported the problem to Mercedes Benz South Africa. After a lengthy back and forth correspondence, I was told that my vehicle was thoroughly tested and compared to similar vehicles and that no fault was found and all further correspondence are now being ignored. This vehicle was never thoroughly tested as it has been in my possession at all times and no test was done on any test apparatus to check for a related problem concerning the suspension, shock absorbers or alignment other than the check done with the mechanic while I waited. I do have a legitimate problem in that the car drives worse than the first Mercedes A- class with bone jarring feelings when going over undulating road services causing me at times to rectify the steering due to the wobbly effect of the vehicle and Mercedes claims that this is normal for the latest W205 model. To date, I have received no reference number as promised from Mercedes Benz. I specifically bought this vehicle for comfort and reliability at this price and do expect better customer service and relations that Mercedes Benz is known for. There are no negative remarks in the Car Magazine and other reviews written for this vehicle and because the vehicle is still under the factory warranty, I expect my concern to be addressed before I decide to have another forum to have my vehicle checked. I have written to the ombudsman who took three weeks after a few requests to acknowledge my e-mails and was then told that they will only be able to look at my complaint in about four weeks time due to the amount of queries they are dealing with. I do not appreciate the way my problem have been dealt with by Mercedes Benz SA and feel that I deserve the attention of a dissatisfied customer as expected.
