Mercedes Benz A200 Urban line is ****

<p>I purchased a brand new Mercedes Benz A200 Urban line from Mercedes Benz M2 city in August 2016 and collected the car from the dealership on the 8th of August 2016. The car looked very good but little did i know. </p> <p>I am very disappoint with the car. To date the car has been in and out of the North cliff dealership (which is the closest dealership from i work) for repairs/adjustments (more than 3 times). First time, there was wind noise, I took it in and I was told that the doors were not adjusted properly for which they adjusted but the noise did not go away. Second time, the sunroof started making a funny noise (crackling/rattling sound) and I took it in again and I was told that they will have to take the entire sunroof off and put back again, so the sunroof was lubricated but the noise never went away. Third time, I took the car back again the following day and the sunroof was taken off, fixed and put back on again and the noise went away. Fourth time, I remained with the wind noise for which I took time off work and took one of the guys that work in the workshop for a drive in order for them to hear what I am talking about and they identified the wind noise to be coming from the back windows as they are not properly adjusted. Fifth time, last week the front passenger window started opening itself as and when I close it and I have to take the car in again tomorrow.</p> <p> </p> <p>For a car that was purchased brand new I am very disappointed and unhappy with all these encounters. I expected to have peace of mind when I purchased a brand new car instead of a second hand car. I am not enjoying the car at all. Mercedes Benz called everytime after i had taken the car in and I explained everything to them and I was told they would escalate the matter to Mercedes Benz South Africa but no one has bothered getting back to me from Mercedes Benz South Africa. When i am driving in the car it feels like i am outside, i can literally hear everything that happens on the road, not to mention the rattles that happens in the car.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am highly disappointed with the purchase of this car and I am even considering getting rid of the vehicle which will have severe financial implications on my side as I will lose the deposit I paid on the car.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
