Mercedes allows dealerships to dictate terms of their own compaign

Mercedes benz SA is allowing the bloemfontein dealership dictate which vehicles qualify for their campaigns.

I drive a W204 C180 with 113000 km on the clock which cam of maintenance in 2020,I proceeded to service the car in bloemfontein in 2021 and the dealer claimed they have not heard of the fixed price service campaign from Mercedes and estimated the service B needed which included gearbox service could be around R18k, I call Mercedes M2 City in Johannesburg who were happy to assist and were aware of the campaign.

FastTrack to December 2022, I booked my car in for A5 service in bloemfontein and after making me wait for almost 3 hours,they phone to give me an estimate repair of R35k of which when challenged they said the service alone will cost R13k and my vehicle does not qualify for the fixed service fee campaign as it is W204 274 engine instead of 271,I called Mercedes of the 29th to confirm this for me and after initial receiving confirmation that it does but they needed something in management to contact the dealer I'm today now informed they need to check with the same dealership whether or not my forms part of the campaign.

Now it is either mercedes has *********** staff in their customer service or they are allowing dealerships to charge people exorbitant prices even though mercedes benz has a campaign that has a fixed cost,the question is which one is it?
