Loss of customer car

On Friday the 15th of July 2022, I took my Mom’s car (Mercedes-Benz W205 C200AMG, dark gray )to Garden city motors for Battery service I got there around 07:40 signed the car in at 07:46 and the shuttle took me to riverside mall , the shuttle driver gave me he’s number just in case am called early to come fetch the car , I called the guy at 15:25 to come fetch me as I was tired of being at the mall and he told me that he’s been sent to Middleburg but gave me a colleague’s number which I also called and he told me he’s in badplass I should call the office to arrange a car to come fetch me I then decided to take a walk back to the garage got there before 4pm, Leatitia Naidoo told me the car was out for a test drive I can wait for it, I waited after 1hr 30mins she came to me to ask if I had an adapter on the car ? , I told her I don’t know she then asked if I have Mercedes me app they want to locate the car since the guy who went out with the car is not answering the phone,I told her yes but we never used it and the phone that has the app is off , she got me a charger to charge 20mins later the sales guy told me to follow him to he’s office , I asked what’s going on why am I called cause I thought he the one who went out with the car, and he rep**** not I was asked to assist you with Mercedes me app I don’t know what is going on, he tried to sync the phone with the car and he failed as this needed the car to be on or locked,he then advised the service advisor Leatitia to call Mercedes SA so they can locate the car,and I was told that the matter has been reported to the police we should wait for them there, at that time a courtesy car has been assigned to me I had to go get something to eat, I came back still the cops were not there Garden city investigation officer advised that we should go to the police station to open the case so that I can leave since Nkomazi is far were I stay, we drove to the police station using Oswald Jerome who informed us when we asked about the footage since earlier they mentioned checking it, footage showed that the guy left at 12:54 at their dealer and at 14:00 that’s when they started calling the guy who at some point told them he was still busy shopping and they started searching for the car around the routes where they normally test drive in but didn’t find the car, a case was opened at the police station by garden city motors and I gave my witness statement, while I was still at the police station the guy Sidwell Masoka Magagula who left with the car got it and came with some lame story of being hijacked by guys who were driving a ford kuga if I remember correctly but when we cross questioned how the guys manage to open the doors from outside n if they broke any window he said he doesn’t remember and Andre Bakker one of the managers protected him and the police asked us to leave I left the police station around 10pm to 11pm that Friday and drove back home and I got a call from Mr Andre Bekker telling me that they’re not responsible for the lost of the car I should contact my insurance from there he didn’t want to share anything as I sent my uncle to go get the case number from them and they told him they won’t communicate anything with him
